Why would I get eyelash extensions?

How do I look after my eyelash extensions?
For the first 24 hours after the eyelash application, avoid all steam, water and crying. No sauna’s or spa’s for 48 hours. . The adhesive can take this long to properly set.
When using eye makeup remover, use only oil free products as oil based remover will reduce the durability of the adhesive.
Avoid rubbing your lashes as much as possible. The less you touch them, the longer they will last.
Can I wear mascara on the eyelash extensions?
The biggest benefit of having eyelash extensions is that you do not need to wear mascara and we do not recommend using it.
However, should you so desire, please ensure the mascara is oil free. Eyelash extensions are perfect for brides. Let the tears flow freely with no streaky mascara marks.

How do I prepare for my eyelash extensions appointment?
If possible please arrive with scrupulously clean lashes, any traces of mascara or oil products can result in the adhesive not bonding perfectly. Remove contact lenses.
Do I need to wait for all the lashes to fall out before replacing them?
It is up to you how regularly you have eyelash extensions applied. Most clients come back every 3 weeks for top ups. Other clients wait for the entire set to fall off before coming back for a full new fresh set.
Can I curl my eyelash extensions?
No. The lashes are not to be curled. If you are looking for a curly look, it is best to let us know at the time of application and we can apply curlier lash extensions for you.
How long will my eyelash extensions last?
On average, you should expect the lashes to last between 4 to 6 weeks. This varies between clients and will depend on your lash growth cycle, your lifestyle and how well you look after them.
What should I do if my eye is sore or irritated after the lashes have been applied?
Please contact us if you have any discomfort or irritation from your lashes. It is extremely rare but occasionally some people may react to the glue.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for an eyebrow sculpting appointment?
One thing to avoid is having fake tan or a spray tan on your face, as this can cause the tint to discolour.
